The need for an NCAA Football playoff is so glaringly obvious it is truly a miracle that it has not been put in place yet. The idea that the students would miss too much class time is an affront by the AD’s who have been pimping their football teams to support everything else on the campus. This cash cow is getting so much guaranteed money from the BCS it needs to investigate itself rather than players who make a little or a lot of cash playing the game that they are very good at. It is evident that this stuff is a load of crap by the statement of no other than Joe Paterno. I am by no means a fan of his or Penn State but he has been known to speak the truth and I applaud him for doing so. when his coaching contract is up next year maybe the NCAA should hire him to fix this mess.
