Things That Need To Be Addressed: Baseball

By Paul Barton • May 20th, 2008 • Category: Baseball

Bud Selig is the worst commissioner there has ever been, in any sport. He is an absolute boob. I understand the fact that he is basically an owners puppet but some of the things that have happened under his watch make me so angry that they let this moron ruin the game that was pretty much untouchable. The Great American Pastime. But he managed to screw it up. Here are some that make my blood boil.

By Chris Roberts • Mar 19th, 2008 • Category: Baseball

“Manager Terry Francona and his players were upset after learning staff members are not going to get a $40,000 stipend. The Boston Herald reported players insisted part of their agreement to make the trip included the fee — for them and the coaches.” (ESPN)

Yankees Appeal Suspension, Pose Weak Argument Using Strong Double-Negatives

By Chris Roberts • Mar 17th, 2008 • Category: Baseball

Full disclosure: Yankees suck; Derek Jeter drinks wine coolers; year 2000 and all those I’m-a-Sox-fan prerequisites. You should approach this with the understanding that I’d offer to buy George Steinbrenner a drink, but I’d take him to a bar that only serves Zima.
